Yesterday, medical marijuana patients and advocates gathered in Boston to protest the state government's failure to ensure access to medicine in the nearly two years since the law was passed. Since then, not a single medical marijuana dispensary has been allowed to open. Regulations on caregivers -- providers who are not associated with dispensaries -- which only allow them to service one patient have crippled their ability to meet patient demand.
The crowd first began protesting outside the Department of Public Health headquarters, then held a press conference. The group then marched to the State House, where the protest continued for some time.
I have a lot of other footage from the protest and, by the end of the week, I should have a video of the highlights. Until then, you can check out the raw video of the entire press conference.
